What is this drawer suitable for?
These aluminium drawers are highly suitable for use in campers and commercial vehicles. Many campers have a low storage compartment at the rear. With one or two large drawers mounted between the wheel arches, the loaded surface can be pulled out so all items remain easy to reach.
Large drawers are also often required in commercial vehicles for tools or parts. Almost all of our 250kg locking drawer slides are used in vehicles. The lock and the high load capacity make them very suitable for this purpose.
Until recently, customers could only purchase the drawer slides from us and had to build the drawer themselves. This takes time and requires strong connections, machines and materials that the average DIY user usually does not have. To help these customers, we developed this series of ready-made aluminium drawers.
The drawer is made entirely from thick aluminium. This is an expensive material choice, but it offers major advantages: low own weight, high strength and a long service life because it cannot rust or rot.
As specialists, we do the machining for you. The aluminium drawer you receive is completely finished. No drilling or additional machining is required. The drawer has hole patterns on both sides that match the drawer slides that can be added separately to the cart. With the included fasteners, the slides can be attached quickly and easily to the sides.
We also keep our prices very competitive by working with volume, doing much ourselves and keeping margins low. In short, this is a high-quality ready-to-use drawer at a very good price.
What does this drawer consist of?
This product consists of the aluminium drawer, sleeve nuts and bolts. The drawer fits our 250kg drawer slides in two versions: with and without locking. The slides can be mounted at a right angle to the floor using our optional mounting brackets, or directly between two side walls.
Other accessories include our drawer dividers and decorative corners. An unlimited number of dividers can be placed in the drawer. The decorative corners match the appearance of the T-connectors.

We can adapt our aluminium drawers to your required dimensions. Please send us the available installation depth, width and height, the mounting method, the number of drawers, the weight to be carried, the number of dividers and the desired aluminium finish.
Within two working days you will receive a custom quotation. After approval, delivery takes approximately four weeks. A black drawer requires about two additional weeks.
How far does this drawer extend?
When using our 250kg 600mm drawer slides, the drawer extends 800 mm and therefore comes completely outside the cabinet. With locking slides, the movement is locked in both the closed and fully open position.
How much weight can this drawer carry?
The limiting factor is not the drawer itself, but the drawer slides. Taking the drawer’s own weight into account, the assembly may on average be loaded with 240 kg. If the load is placed mainly deep inside the drawer, the assembly can carry about 275 kg. The maximum point load at the front is approximately 165 kg.
It is therefore better for the slides to place heavy items at the rear of the drawer. Dividers can help prevent items from sliding forward unintentionally, for example in a moving vehicle.
